This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deploy, manage, and sustain UAS, USV, UUV, and UGV platforms in the field.
• Assist in the execution of missions involving both autonomous and semi-autonomous systems.
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot autonomy and autopilot hardware/software in real-time operational settings.
• Conduct systems integration, pre-mission inspections, and post-mission evaluations.
• Maintain and repair vehicle systems, payloads, and supporting ground equipment.
• Operate systems in environments with limited infrastructure, communication, or support.
• Provide comprehensive operational feedback to engineering teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Assist in business development initiatives, demonstrations, customer assessments, training sessions, and deployments.
• Travel to test facilities, customer sites, and operational environments as needed.
• Represent ASR in a professional manner with clients, partners, and government stakeholders.
• Over 5 years of practical experience in deploying, operating, or maintaining unmanned systems (UAS, USV, UUV, UGV).
• Possession of a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
• Experience in operating systems within austere field and/or maritime operational environments.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, or systems troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capacity to stay calm and effective under operational pressure.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently, often on short notice.
