This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver support for the MIP Accounting application to clerks, auditors, staff accountants, CFOs, as well as payroll and HR personnel.
• Respond promptly to customer service inquiries through the product ticketing system.
• Collaborate with customers to identify and reproduce errors and defects using various communication channels to ensure resolutions (phone/web/chat).
• Work alongside team members to provide effective solutions to customer inquiries.
• Relay customer feedback to support management during regular team meetings.
• Recognize recurring service requests within your support specialty and suggest knowledge base articles or alternative solutions to minimize ticket volume.
• Deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly yet empathetic demeanor, ensuring proactive and timely responses to uphold high customer satisfaction ratings.
• Address product-related how-to questions for both new and existing customers related to the product you support.
• Capable of interpreting the communications of an Accountant, CFO, or Accounting Clerk and applying a consultative approach to resolve accounting application questions or issues.
• Possess an understanding or willingness to learn how accounting transactions integrate into financial reports, such as balance sheets and/or statements of revenue and expenditures, and identify report/transaction issues to assist with corrections.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A 2-year degree in Accounting or 2 years of relevant Accounting work experience is preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience is necessary.
• Familiarity with MIP Accounting software is essential.
• Basic proficiency in Office 365 applications - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Comfortable working with technology.
• Ability to utilize problem-solving skills to interpret basic application errors and provide assistance with solutions.
• Strong organizational abilities are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
