This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform mineral title research utilizing county records and online databases.
• Analyze deeds, leases, assignments, probate records, liens, and encumbrances.
• Create mineral ownership reports, title runsheets, and chain of title analyses.
• Detect title defects and suggest remedial solutions.
• Draft and produce recordable documents, such as affidavits, lease memorandums, assignments, and curative documentation.
• Confirm ownership interests, legal descriptions, and the accuracy of title positions.
• Collaborate with county clerks and third-party vendors as necessary.
• Maintain orderly title files and documentation for project tracking.
• Work alongside project teams to ensure timely delivery of client-ready materials.
• Over 5 years of experience in mineral title.
• Experience in the energy sector is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mineral ownership, chain of title, curative processes, and legal land descriptions.
• Proven experience in preparing title reports and recordable documents.
• Familiarity with county record systems and title research databases.
• Capability to manage multiple projects while ensuring exceptional accuracy.
• Preference for candidates with multi-state and Texas experience.
