This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Acts as the main point of contact through phone calls, live chats, and emails for students inquiring about their financial aid status.
• Conducts proactive outbound calls to update students on their Financial Aid status.
• Completes SharePoints, follows up with students, and engages in Special Projects.
• Collaborates effectively as a team member, supporting and promoting LU’s mission.
• Capable of articulating and advocating for the distinctive Christian educational mission and vision of Liberty University and its affiliates to diverse individuals and groups.
• Undertakes additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Bizflow, and Banner software.
• Preferred experience in Financial Aid and familiarity with aid programs and processes.
• Understanding of Federal and State aid programs, including PELL, FSEOG, FWS, FDLP, VTAG, Voc. Rehab., Institutional aid and scholarships, veterans/military benefits, and outside aid.
• Background in student development, student affairs, or academic affairs.
• Proficiency in Spanish or American Sign Language.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, and weekends.
• Exceptional communication, arithmetic, and organizational skills with great attention to detail.
