Mid/Senior Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design and implement intricate, scalable frontend systems that prioritize simplicity and effectiveness.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to jointly develop requirements and define project scope.

• Guide technical decision-making for features with medium to large scope.

• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and collaborative programming.

• Take responsibility for the frontend stack by actively identifying bottlenecks, technical debt, and systemic challenges.

• Promote and implement best practices in React, TypeScript, and web performance optimization.

• Work alongside Data Science and Backend Engineers to guarantee smooth data flow and overall system reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.

• Demonstrated capability to architect complex state management solutions.

• Experience in mentoring junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and collaborative programming.

• Proficient in writing robust and efficient unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Jest or Playwright.

• Strong understanding of web performance, browser internals, and optimization strategies for data-intensive applications.

• Familiarity with AI-driven coding tools and models is a plus.
