Midlevel QA Security Analyst – 8 Months Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Conduct functional, regression, and security assessments for web and/or mobile applications

• Detect and report security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10)

• Perform API security assessments and validation

• Execute penetration testing activities ranging from basic to intermediate levels

• Verify resolutions for identified vulnerabilities

• Work in collaboration with developers to promote secure coding practices

• Create and sustain test cases, including those focused on security scenarios

• Embed security testing within CI/CD pipelines where relevant

• Record test outcomes and deliver comprehensive reporting

• 2–5 years of experience in QA or software testing

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and lifecycle

• Proficiency with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)

• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)

• Basic knowledge of security testing principles
