Middleware Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage IBM MQ, IBM API Connect (APIC), DataPower, Kafka, WebSphere, OpenShift, Tomcat, and IBM ACE/IIB environments.

• Execute middleware installation, configuration, deployment, upgrades, and monitoring tasks.

• Diagnose production issues and deliver advanced problem-solving solutions.

• Facilitate enterprise application integrations across both on-premises and cloud environments.

• Create and sustain middleware documentation and operational procedures.

• Work collaboratively with development and infrastructure teams for deployments and system enhancements.

• Engage in scheduled maintenance and production support activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of experience in Middleware Engineering.

• Extensive hands-on expertise with IBM APIC and IBM MQ.

• Familiarity with IBM DataPower, Kafka, OpenShift, WebSphere, and IBM ACE/IIB.

• Proficiency in Java, Python, Node.js, or SQL.

• Experience in supporting cloud integrations (preferably Azure).

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication capabilities.
