Middleware Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with developers and architects to develop middleware configurations according to requirements.

• Discover and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance existing middleware.

• Produce and update documentation for middleware installations, modifications, and upgrades.

• Specify hardware requirements in collaboration with software development and infrastructure teams.

• Diagnose technical issues associated with application solutions, infrastructure, and cloud services.

• Create automation processes to mitigate the recurrence of issues.

• Provide training to engineers on middleware upgrades and new installations.

• Work alongside vendors and support teams for problem resolution, design challenges, and upgrades.

• Engage in Agile software development practices, including coding, testing, and debugging.

• Execute troubleshooting, incident response, and patch management.

• Address technical challenges to enhance application performance and functionality.

• Formulate strategies for the migration, consolidation, and upgrading of middleware components.

• Assess system architecture and provide recommendations.

• Establish standardized processes for the installation, maintenance, and improvement of middleware applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Web Development, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, Node.js, Golang, Python, shell scripts, AWS, MariaDB, and SQL.

• Experience in software development and scripting.

• Understanding of system development methodologies for planning, developing, implementing, operating, and maintaining middleware systems.

• Familiarity with creating, implementing, supporting, and maintaining modifications to the CI/CD pipeline using GitLab.

• Experience in developing tools and resolving bugs.
