This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of comprehensive AI deployments for healthcare clients.
• Design and execute RAG pipelines based on customer clinical data.
• Develop integrations for tool-calling and Model Context Protocol (MCP) with EHRs, data warehouses, and operational tools.
• Create production-level Python code utilizing LangChain, LangSmith, and contemporary AI frameworks.
• Employ advanced LLM techniques such as RAG, prompt engineering, LLM-as-judge, and chain-of-thought reasoning.
• Conduct infrastructure setup, integration testing, production monitoring configuration, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
• Instrument deployed agents, oversee production systems, respond to incidents, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with customers as a technical authority, articulating AI architecture, capabilities, and limitations.
• Develop reusable AI patterns and frameworks for future implementations.
• Provide evidence that deployed agents enhance operational reliability and clinical outcomes.
• Work in conjunction with Deployment Strategists, engineers, clinical specialists, product teams, ML research, and engineering leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Over 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in Python and experience in production software development.
• Practical experience with LLM frameworks like LangChain and LangSmith, or similar technologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of modern LLM development methodologies and best practices.
• Profound expertise in retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, tool calling, LLM-as-judge, and other advanced patterns.
• Experience in creating integrations with APIs, databases, or enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with asynchronous patterns, error handling, and reliability engineering.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time to customer locations throughout the United States.
• Ability to visit the Menlo Park headquarters quarterly.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Preferred: Experience with MCP or similar frameworks, healthcare IT and EHR integrations, FHIR, HL7, production DevOps or infrastructure, AI systems in production, mission-critical or safety-sensitive systems, and environments in startups or high-growth technology sectors.
