Middle School Special Education Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver designated course material in a virtual setting

• Offer instruction, assistance, and mentorship

• Oversee the educational process and prioritize students’ individual requirements

• Track student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system

• Collaborate with students and parents/learning coaches to enhance student learning

• Occasionally travel for school events, including state assessments

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• Valid state teaching license

• Capability to pass the necessary background check

• Experience with the specified age group

• Background in assisting both adults and children with technology

• Experience in teaching in an online (virtual) and/or traditional classroom setting

• Familiarity with online learning platforms

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
