Middle School Social Studies Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver targeted course content within an online setting

• Offer instruction, assistance, and guidance to students

• Oversee the learning process tailored to individual student requirements

• Track student progress using the learning management system

• Work collaboratively with students and their families

• Prepare students for critical standardized assessments

• Build and sustain a positive relationship with families

• Travel for professional development and state assessments as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree

• Valid state teaching license

• Capability to pass the necessary background check

• Experience with the designated age group

• Experience assisting both adults and children in utilizing technology

• Background in teaching in an online (virtual) or traditional classroom setting

• Familiarity with online learning platforms

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

• Willingness to learn new technologies and educational platforms

• Ability to maintain teacher certification and professional development hours
