Middle School Science Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee instructional programs from the home office located in Missouri

• Regularly consult with learning coaches and students to ensure the successful completion of educational programs

• Timely completion of grading, creation of progress reports, and conducting parent conferences

• Enhance the instructional program through asynchronous web conferencing sessions and synchronous teaching

• Evaluate curriculum and create alternative methods for presenting lessons

• Maintain consistent communication with parents, students, and fellow educators

• Keep student records and data accurately updated

• Design alternative enrichment activities and modifications for students’ programs

• Organize social activities and relevant field trips for students

• Engage in student recruitment sessions and other marketing initiatives that require teacher involvement

• Attend and contribute to in-person training sessions and team-building activities

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach Secondary Science in Missouri, relevant to grade level and subject area responsibilities

• Experience with Professional Learning Communities is required

• Strong technological proficiency, especially with Microsoft operating systems and Office programs

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

• A customer-focused mindset

• High degree of adaptability and flexibility

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Track record of being a team player

• Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events, which may involve overnight stays

• Capability to work remotely, if required

• Availability to work some occasional evening hours as needed to support families
