Middle .NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, debug, and document software applications utilizing .NET, cloud, and related technologies.

• Ensure applications meet performance, quality, and responsiveness standards.

• Collaborate with the team to outline, design, and deliver new features.

• Work alongside project leaders, product owners, and developers to comprehend business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing systems.

• Support end-users of the application by troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Stay informed about new technology trends and best practices in .NET development.

• Continuously enhance the codebase, address bugs, and optimize performance.

• Engage in code reviews to ensure code quality and facilitate shared knowledge.

• Create and maintain thorough documentation for software solutions.

• Develop and execute unit and functional tests to guarantee code quality.

• Assist in defining test scenarios and testing the developed functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in commercial development.

• Strong technical proficiency in .NET and object-oriented programming.

• Expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD), including unit, integration, and acceptance testing.

• Experience with microservices, distributed architecture, GraphQL, REST APIs, event buses, and message queues.

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Understanding of client-server architecture and asynchronous programming.

• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL (MS SQL Server, MongoDB), Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

• Exceptional communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and analytical skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Equivalent practical experience or certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, .NET certifications) will also be taken into account.
