This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.
• Conduct manual testing of web applications across various environments.
• Design, develop, execute, and uphold comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
• Verify backend functionality through API and database testing when applicable.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects utilizing Azure DevOps.
• Engage in test planning and contribute to the overall testing strategy of the project.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality during the development lifecycle.
• Analyze testing outcomes and provide clear, actionable defect reports.
• Share knowledge of testing practices, best approaches, and support ongoing process enhancements.
• Work autonomously while managing testing activities and adhering to project deadlines.
• Over 3 years of experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools for test management and bug tracking.
• Solid understanding of test case design methodologies and testing approaches.
• Thorough knowledge of the software testing lifecycle and quality assurance practices.
• Experience in implementing and adhering to project-specific testing strategies.
• Hands-on knowledge of backend testing, including API and database validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
• Relevant experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to enhance productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery.
• Work from Bulgaria and a work permit are required.
