Middle iOS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and integrate native iOS applications and software components based on functional and technical specifications.

• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Create attractive, high-performance, and user-centered mobile experiences.

• Develop prototypes and actively participate during technical discovery and solution design phases.

• Conduct unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and continuous quality enhancements.

• Optimize application performance, stability, and maintainability.

• Generate and maintain technical documentation in accordance with engineering standards.

• Investigate new technologies and suggest improvements to products, processes, and development methodologies.

• Maintain and enhance existing production applications by resolving issues and adding new features.

• Participate in architectural discussions and uphold engineering standards.

• Utilize AI tools throughout the development process to enhance productivity, quality, and delivery speed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in native iOS development.

• Strong proficiency in Swift/Objective-C.

• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices in mobile development.

• Experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing production mobile applications.

• Solid expertise in unit testing and code quality standards.

• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.

• Experience with AI-driven development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar platforms.

• Skill in generating code through effective prompting techniques.

• Capability to validate architectural decisions and ensure alignment with established design patterns.

• Nice-to-have skills: Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.

• Knowledge of best practices for mobile application security.

• Experience in agile work environments.

• Experience mentoring fellow developers and advocating for engineering best practices.

• Interest in emerging technologies and AI-enhanced software development.
