This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Process LiDAR data following project guidelines.
• Identify telecom and utility poles along with associated infrastructure objects.
• Measure necessary heights and attributes from point cloud data.
• Prepare output datasets in the required format for clients.
• Ensure the consistency, completeness, and accuracy of the processed records.
• Conduct self-quality checks before submitting tasks.
• Address issues identified during the quality assurance review.
• Communicate progress and challenges to the Team Lead or Project Manager.
• Raise concerns regarding unclear cases, missing data, or documentation gaps.
• A minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience with LiDAR data and point clouds.
• Understanding of 3D spatial data interpretation, including:
• elevation
• surfaces
• vertical structures
• infrastructure objects
• Ability to visually analyze point cloud datasets effectively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Capability to follow detailed production instructions accurately.
• Basic understanding of GIS concepts, including:
• layers
• coordinates
• attributes
• spatial objects
• Good computer literacy.
• Experience working with structured data in Excel or similar software.
• Familiarity with telecom and utility poles.
• Understanding of overhead lines, conductors, and pole attachments.
• Experience with TerraScan, TerraSolid, or Bentley Microstation.
• Relevant GIS-related educational background.
• Experience with:
• LiDAR classification
• feature extraction
• DTM and DSM workflows
• QA/QC experience for GIS or LiDAR outputs.
