This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Oversee the policies, standards, and processes necessary to facilitate the contractual renewal process, collaborating closely with Finance for proactive budget forecasting.
β’ Ensure timely execution of all supporting documents essential for the contract renewal framework.
β’ Responsible for developing Investment proposals, initiating purchase orders, and maintaining a consistent process for approving invoices.
β’ Manage the budget for operating costs related to Application services, including monthly and annual forecasting responsibilities.
β’ Ensure compliance and governance in managing vendor license agreements and entitlements through service partners, focusing on usage, renewals, and license rationalization.
β’ Handle financial management and controls for relevant contract costs, including invoice approvals and identifying potential service credits.
β’ Collaborate with Service Design and Integration (SD&I), application support partners, technology teams, and the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure accurate documentation and management of contracts and financial data when new services are introduced to Middle & Back Office teams.
β’ Support the Keep the Lights program by partnering with Technology Delivery teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects requiring changes to Application services, meeting time, cost, and quality standards.
β’ Effectively manage financial data, knowledge, operating procedures, and the maintenance of relevant service catalogs or portfolios associated with Middle & Back Office application services.
β’ Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities related to contract renewals.
β’ Ensure timely provision of quotes from vendors, engaging procurement when necessary to assist with contract renewal negotiations.
β’ Initiate Continuous Improvement activities by leveraging internal teams and external partners to reduce costs and enhance efficiencies, particularly in relation to Transformation activities within service partner contracts. This includes staying informed about emerging best practices, automation, tooling, and engaging in internal or external benchmarking exercises.
β’ Maintain financial reporting for Middle & Back Office application services in alignment with IS&T standards.
β’ Aid in monitoring supplier performance against SLAs, OLAs, and contractual commitments, escalating issues to the Managed Services Manager as needed.
β’ Strong vendor management skills, including experience in negotiating and managing contract renewals.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
β’ Experience managing budgets exceeding Β£5M, with a proven track record of adhering to budgetary constraints and successfully driving cost-saving initiatives.
β’ Strong numerical aptitude, enabling accurate analysis of pricing, licensing metrics, and renewal forecasts.
β’ Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple renewals, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
β’ A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to drive efficiencies in people, processes, and procedures.
β’ Proficient in upholding, enforcing, and maintaining corporate policies.
