Mid Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Developing new pages and components using Next.js and React, utilizing SSR, REST, and GraphQL.

• Assisting in the design and architecture of protobuf contracts to facilitate efficient service development.

• Leading initiatives for quality and performance enhancements, including support for observability, load testing, and metrics.

• Effectively managing legacy systems while aiding in the evolution of the platform.

• Fostering a positive, productive, and healthy team atmosphere.

• Collaborating closely with Product Managers and Designers to provide effective solutions.

• Engaging in pair programming with fellow engineers.

• Taking part in self-directed Relentless Improvement days to emphasize learning, experimentation, or platform enhancements.

• Complying with company policies regarding quality management, safety, and environmental standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated years of experience working in productive software engineering teams and delivering high-quality software.

• Proficiency in full stack development across various languages and modern architectures.

• Strong communication abilities, especially for asynchronous collaboration.

• An independent mindset capable of working autonomously and tackling problems with pragmatism and creativity.

• A considerate approach to feedback, pairing, and code reviews while upholding high technical standards.

• Experience in contributing to architectural decisions within distributed systems.

• Comfort in a continuous deployment environment with rapid iterations.

• Experience with any of the following is a plus: TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, Go, Rust, Kafka, Grafana, GraphQL, MongoDB, Elixir, Postgres.

• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, or Argo CD.
