Mid-Senior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assess both business and technical requirements to ensure they are testable.

• Develop and maintain test cases, checklists, test plans, and associated documentation.

• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and non-functional testing.

• Test browser-based single-page applications (SPAs) and APIs.

• Validate integrations of microservices, including REST, Kafka, and WebSocket/SignalR communications.

• Document and monitor defects using Jira.

• Create test summary reports prior to releases.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders.

• Assist in UI/API test automation when applicable.

• Work with a sports analytics platform utilized by thousands of users.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of Manual QA experience.

• Proficiency in testing .NET/React applications and microservice architectures.

• In-depth knowledge of SDLC/STLC and various testing methodologies.

• Strong skills in web and API testing.

• Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools.

• Solid understanding of HTTP, cookies, local storage, and HTML/CSS.

• Proficient in Chrome DevTools and traffic inspection tools.

• Experience in testing with WebSocket/SignalR.

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and basic SQL.

• Familiarity with Jira/YouTrack or similar project management systems.

• English proficiency at an Intermediate (B1+) level or higher.
