Mid - Senior M&A Attorney, Renewable Energy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee M&A transactions within the renewable energy sector, focusing on the acquisition and sale of renewable energy projects.

• Direct deals and supervise associates.

• Organize and manage multiple workflows effectively.

• Collaborate with clients, colleagues at CEC, and other professionals regarding M&A matters.

• Coordinate and lead due diligence reviews for M&A transactions.

• Manage and guide transactional documentation processes.

• Follow firm policies, practices, and priorities diligently.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by firm management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a law firm, specifically serving clients in the renewable energy and related sectors.

• Significant experience in leading and managing the acquisition and disposition of renewable energy projects and portfolios.

• Proficient in reviewing and analyzing relevant energy contracts, including EPCs, O&Ms, and PPAs.

• Capability to engage and manage necessary subject matter experts.

• Ability to oversee and track all facets of transactions.

• Exceptional skills in deal management, organization, drafting, communication, negotiation, and analysis.

• Competence in legal research and drafting.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Must be admitted to and in good standing with the Bar of the applicant’s state of residence.
