Mid-Senior Level Project Development Attorney – Renewable Energy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the team in developing projects within the renewable energy sector.

• Work alongside clients, CEC colleagues, and other professionals regarding project development issues.

• Comply with the Firm's policies, practices, and strategic priorities.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by Firm management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ideally possess 6-8 years of experience at a law firm, preferably in a practice area that serves clients in the renewable energy and related sectors.

• Proven experience in negotiating various traditional renewable energy agreements (EPCs, O&Ms, PPAs, etc.).

• Exceptional skills in deal management, organization, drafting, communication, negotiation, and analysis.

• Team-oriented mentality with an emphasis on mentoring junior attorneys.

• Strong capability in legal research and drafting.

• Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Competence in effectively working and collaborating in a remote work setting.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities along with strong organizational and planning skills, capable of managing multiple complex matters under tight deadlines and pressure.

• Must be admitted to and maintain good standing with the Bar in the applicant’s state of residence.

• Requirement of 1,200 billable hours annually, with an hourly bonus for exceeding this threshold.

• Base salary starting at $235,000, determined during the interview process and influenced by various factors, including prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market conditions.
