Mid-Level/Senior Developer, Backend, Java, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance backend services utilizing Java.

• Create and implement scalable APIs and microservices.

• Collaborate with messaging systems and distributed architectures.

• Integrate services within the AWS ecosystem.

• Ensure the quality, observability, and resilience of applications.

• Engage in CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps methodologies.

• Contribute to technical refinements and architectural decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java (Java 21+), Spring, and Hibernate.

• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and design patterns.

• Experience with microservices architecture, Clean Architecture, BFF (Backend for Frontend), and DDD (Domain-Driven Design).

• Skilled in modeling REST APIs using Spring Boot and AWS API Gateway.

• Understanding of application security principles: authentication, OWASP guidelines, and best practices.

• Proficient in unit and integration testing with JUnit 4+ and Mockito.

• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Fargate, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch).

• Experience with messaging systems such as Amazon SQS, Kafka, or similar.

• Knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.

• Proficient in infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Understanding of CI/CD processes and familiarity with Git.

• Familiarity with leveraging AI in development (code generation, automation).
