Mid-Level Water and Wastewater Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Offering technical support to small, underserved water and wastewater utilities nationwide to secure funding and design, construct, and maintain sustainable, resilient water infrastructure systems that ensure clean water for their communities.

• Evaluating and promoting innovative technologies in water and wastewater treatment and developing resources to mitigate barriers to their adoption.

• Analyzing the design, costs, and environmental impacts related to potential projects in water and wastewater infrastructure.

• Compiling preliminary engineering reports.

• Executing sampling and survey initiatives, conducting advanced data analysis of environmental sampling outcomes, and producing clear data analysis reports.

• Creating strategies to manage discharges of PFAS and other emerging contaminants that pose risks to human health and the environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in chemical, environmental, or civil engineering.

• A minimum GPA of 3.0 (college transcripts required).

• 3 to 8 years of relevant experience.

• Excellent writing and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in spreadsheets and other software for data compilation, analysis, and presentation.

• Strong time management skills with the capacity to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills, ensuring the production of high-quality client-ready deliverables.

• A collaborative team player with the ability to encourage cooperation.
