Mid-level Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Establish the testing strategy, including time estimates, effort, test levels, and cycles;

• Evaluate, create, and sustain test scenarios, test scripts, and traceability matrices (aligning functionality with scripts);

• Set up environments for script creation and execute tests based on the type of testing;

• Prepare and/or obtain necessary test data;

• Record and investigate the root causes of failures;

• Support in the planning, analysis, and monitoring of acceptance tests.

• Technical expertise;

• Knowledge of test levels, practices, methodologies, and technologies;

• Mobile Quality Assurance (QA);

• Web Quality Assurance (QA);

• Non-functional Quality Assurance (NFR);

• Proficiency in test and defect management tools;

• Familiarity with continuous integration tools;

• Understanding of technologies related to automated testing (both functional and non-functional);

• Ability to derive test cases from requirements;

• Skills;

• Capacity to manage at least three systems simultaneously;

• Analyze and synthesize information;

• Systematic perspective;

• Critical thinking and an investigative mindset for defect identification;

• Ability to describe and detail issues, aiding in defect logging;

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from an institution recognized and accredited by the Ministry of Education (MEC); OR a bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited institution, complemented by a postgraduate course in software engineering or software development comprising a minimum of 360 hours, recognized and completed at an institution accredited by the Ministry of Education (MEC).
