This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications utilizing C# & ASP.NET Core.
• Create dynamic user interfaces with Angular 15, TypeScript 4.9, RxJS, Angular Material / PrimeNG, Blazor (or similar) and SignalR, ensuring responsiveness, accessibility, and a smooth user experience.
• Develop server-side logic, services, and APIs with .NET 8, ensuring applications perform efficiently and responsively.
• Implement and manage database solutions using MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, and Entity Framework, including the use of Stored Procedures as needed.
• Create and utilize RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Engage in peer code reviews to uphold high code quality, performance, and compliance with best practices and coding standards.
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee the reliability of applications.
• Generate clear and concise technical documentation for development processes, APIs, and system architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA, to deliver top-notch solutions within an Agile environment.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in .NET and Blazor, suggesting and implementing enhancements to the codebase and development workflow.
• Demonstrated experience in full-stack web development, creating both front-end interfaces and back-end services.
• Familiarity with the complete software development lifecycle, including deploying applications to production environments.
• Over 3 years of practical experience in software development, with expertise in C# and .NET.
• Strong background in application development using C#, with comprehensive knowledge of .NET Core and .NET Framework.
• Significant experience in building web applications with Blazor (or similar) & Angular 15, and familiarity with component libraries like MudBlazor.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks, along with a solid understanding of responsive design principles.
• Experience with relational databases using Entity Framework and familiarity with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB, including database design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in creating and consuming RESTful APIs, as well as a working knowledge of protocols such as JSON and XML.
• Skilled in Git for version control, including branching, merging, and managing pull requests.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues across various layers of the application stack.
• (Desirable but not essential) Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment processes.
• (Desirable but not essential) Understanding of secure coding practices, as well as authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).
• (Desirable but not essential) Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, with the capability to collaborate effectively during sprints and participate in ceremonies like stand-ups and retrospectives.
