This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Produce weekly SEO blogs, case studies, and web pages for our clients, ensuring no deadlines are missed.
• Conduct keyword research for each content piece and collaborate with the team to refine the ongoing keyword strategy.
• Utilize technical SEO, on-page SEO, schema, and reference SEO plugins such as Yoast and Rank Math.
• Perform site audits, analyze results, and implement necessary fixes.
• Oversee indexation, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, and page speed optimization.
• Monitor cannibalization across client websites and address issues proactively to protect rankings.
• Conduct continuous competitor analysis to identify ranking gaps and content opportunities.
• Implement local SEO strategies for geo-targeted clients, including location pages, GBP, and citations.
• Develop backlinks to enhance domain authority.
• Employ AEO and GEO techniques to maintain client visibility in AI search results.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide insights using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
• Work directly with HTML, CSS, WordPress, Webflow, and website builders like Elementor, Divi, and Bricks to implement and publish content.
• Create designs for social media posts, one-pagers, and sales enablement materials.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in SEO, preferably in a B2B or agency setting.
• Demonstrated ability to produce content consistently at scale on a weekly basis.
• Expertise in keyword research and SEO strategy.
• Proficient in technical SEO, including site audits, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema implementations, and cannibalization fixes.
• Experience in backlink building.
• Knowledge of AEO and GEO practices.
• Experience in local SEO.
• Skills in competitor analysis.
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Rich Results Test, and Google Analytics.
• Basic web development knowledge, including WordPress, Webflow, and foundational HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Familiarity with HubSpot (advanced knowledge not required).
• Design skills using tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe.
• Strong command of written English.
