Mid-level Quality Analyst – Vender, Boot & Digital Menu

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement automated testing scripts.

• Identify, log, thoroughly document, and track software bugs.

• Investigate the root causes of software discrepancies.

• Monitor quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

• Collaborate with the team to conduct training and enablement sessions on quality practices, enhancing overall team performance and project success.

• Contribute to decisions regarding software test architecture and strategy, focusing on a distributed, flexible, modern, and scalable architecture that accommodates continuous growth.

• Ensure adherence to quality best practices throughout all stages of the software development process.

• Serve as an advocate for the agile mindset within the team.

• Familiarity with log monitoring and analysis techniques.

• Experience in creating and documenting manual tests, including test cases, smoke tests, regression tests, etc., alongside manual and exploratory testing.

• Proficiency in back-end and front-end testing, encompassing APIs and/or web services.

• Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

• Ability to set up test scenarios and manage defect/bug workflows.

• Proficient with tools such as Postman, Cypress (JavaScript), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server), and version control (Git, Bitbucket).

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
