Mid-level Quality Analyst – Management, Inventory, Cross-functional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement test automation scripts;

• Identify, document, and track defects/bugs comprehensively;

• Analyze root causes of software discrepancies;

• Track quality assurance metrics such as defect density and open defect counts;

• Collaborate on training and upskilling initiatives regarding quality practices with the team, enhancing overall team performance and project success;

• Participate in decisions related to software test architecture and strategy, focusing on a distributed, flexible, modern, and scalable framework to support ongoing growth;

• Ensure adherence to quality best practices throughout the software development lifecycle;

• Serve as an advocate for an agile mindset within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong communication, organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit;

• A desire for continuous self-improvement;

• Experience in log monitoring and analysis;

• Proficiency in creating and documenting manual tests (including test cases, smoke tests, regression tests, etc.) as well as conducting manual and exploratory testing;

• Experience with both back-end and front-end testing, encompassing APIs and/or web services;

• Understanding of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development);

• Management of test scenario setup and defect (bug) workflows;

• Familiarity with Postman, Cypress (JavaScript), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server), and Git (Bitbucket);

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
