Mid-Level QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conducts investigations to identify the root cause, suggests solutions or workarounds, and communicates effectively with the team.

• Engages with multiple projects, frequently in intricate environments that involve various integrations such as APIs and third-party systems.

• Demonstrates proactive quality ownership.

• Analyzes requirements, designs, and user flows independently to pinpoint risk areas and gaps prior to the commencement of testing.

• Conducts thorough investigations of test failures and defects, which include checks on the environment, data validation, reproduction on different browsers and devices, API verification, and log reviews.

• Proposes practical solutions and workarounds in response to issues, documenting findings clearly for both developers and stakeholders.

• Involves in testing execution and strategy.

• Develops and maintains test scenarios and cases, covering functional, regression, integration, and UAT support, ensuring strong coverage and traceability.

• Performs testing across web applications, mobile applications, content-driven experiences, and integrated systems such as CMS and DXP platforms.

• Validates end-to-end workflows across UI, APIs, and downstream systems to confirm data integrity and proper integration behavior.

• Highly preferred qualifications include experience with DXP/CMS platforms like Kentico and Optimizely, or similar systems.

• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and basic debugging using logs and monitoring tools is advantageous.

• Experience in accessibility or compliance testing is a plus.

• Proficient in testing REST and GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman or equivalent, focusing on authentication flows, payload validation, error handling, and contract expectations.

• Required skills and competencies include being a proactive problem-solver who explores reasonable options before escalating issues.

• Exhibits high initiative and the ability to independently identify and bridge gaps.

• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, solution-oriented tone.

• A rapid learner who quickly adapts to new tools, domains, and systems.

• Demonstrates a strong ability to effectively utilize AI tools to enhance testing and problem-solving while ensuring accuracy.
