Mid-Level QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate effectively with all teams involved in the solution delivery lifecycle, ensuring quality from requirements analysis to functionality validation.

• Evaluate requirements and specifications to identify scenarios, business rules, risks, and quality-related aspects that need attention in deliverables.

• Plan and carry out functional, exploratory, regression, and integration testing, with an emphasis on mobile applications.

• Create testing strategies, scenarios, and test cases that encompass various user flows and exception scenarios.

• Conduct API testing using Postman, verifying requests, responses, rules, and integrations.

• Identify, document, track, and validate defect resolutions, collaborating closely with development and other involved teams.

• Assist in the execution, enhancement, and maintenance of current test automation processes.

• Aid in release planning, preparation, and monitoring, contributing to the evaluation of delivery quality and risks.

• Oversee deliverables and spot opportunities to enhance quality processes, practices, and tools.

• Promote quality best practices and foster continuous improvement in software testing and validation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Experience in manual testing of mobile applications, encompassing functional, exploratory, and regression testing.

• Familiarity with BDD, API testing, Postman, SQL, and NoSQL.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Proficient with Jira and Xray.

• Possess an analytical, critical-thinking, collaborative, and results-driven mindset.

• Experience in test automation is regarded as an advantage.
