Mid-level Production Operations Analyst, Batch, Automic UC4

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Assist in the oversight and management of orchestration and scheduling tools, particularly Automic UC4.

• Design, develop, maintain, schedule, and provide support for intricate production jobs and routines.

• Monitor the operational environment and troubleshoot failures (abends) to minimize alerts.

• Address exceeded execution times (maxruntime) effectively.

• Implement new routines into production through Change Requests (GMUD).

• Ensure thorough validation and approval of changes in collaboration with requestors.

• Evaluate and assess the impact of jobs on the operational environment.

• Create action plans for anomalies and suggest technical enhancements.

• Organize, prepare, and coordinate critical tasks during maintenance windows, scheduled outages, and Disaster Recovery tests.

• Guarantee adherence to business rules in processes.

• Assist with internal and external audits, including SOX controls.

• Track SLA metrics for support queues.

• Document, map, and update production routines and environment administration procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.

• Proficient experience with Automic.

• Advanced skills in Shell scripting and UC4 scripting/logic.

• Intermediate understanding of Linux and Windows operating environments.

• Familiarity with ITSM tools.
