Mid-level PHP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and improve web applications using PHP

• Execute system integrations

• Engage in the technical refinement (grooming) of requirements

• Maintain code quality and ensure a well-organized codebase

• Assist in recognizing enhancements and fixes

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed or currently pursuing in IT or related disciplines

• Extensive experience with PHP (versions 7.4+ or 8.x)

• Familiarity with frameworks like Laravel

• Experience in developing APIs and system integrations

• Proficient in consuming and integrating third-party APIs

• Experience with MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture

• Understanding of development best practices (Clean Code)

• Knowledge of SOLID principles

• Ability to structure code with a separation of concerns

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)

• Proficient in SQL (including joins, subqueries, and complex queries)

• Basic understanding of data modeling

• Knowledge of basic query optimization techniques

• Familiarity with source control using Git (Azure DevOps or similar)

• Experience with web application environments

• Basic knowledge of server configuration (Apache or Nginx)

• Understanding of web application security (e.g., SQL Injection, XSS, input validation)

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

• Analytical skills to comprehend business rules

• Strong communication abilities for collaboration with teams and stakeholders
