Mid-Level NodeJS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop solutions and create back-end APIs;

• Design databases and enhance application performance;

• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain code quality and ensure scalability of systems;

• Assess and determine suitable solutions to mitigate risks and minimize potential negative effects on the final product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing back-end software in high-demand settings;

• Proficient in NodeJS and the NestJS framework;

• Skilled in working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL;

• Practical experience utilizing Docker in development environments;

• Familiarity with Software Engineering principles including Clean Architecture, SOLID, Design Patterns (GoF), and automated testing (TDD/BDD);

• Solid understanding of web technology fundamentals along with key protocols and standards like TCP/UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, SSH, FTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, WebSocket, OAuth, JWT, and RESTful APIs;

• Extensive experience with collaborative workflows using platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket;

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, capable of diagnosing complex issues in distributed systems and suggesting effective solutions.
