Mid-Level Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java applications.

• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, which includes analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Work collaboratively with the team to establish architectures and best practices.

• Ensure code quality by adhering to coding standards and performing code reviews.

• Implement integrations with APIs and external services.

• Identify and troubleshoot bugs while enhancing performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of Java 8 or higher.

• Experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.

• Familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

• Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis.

• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Preferred: Experience with messaging systems, such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Preferred: Experience with structured logging, metrics, or tracing tools like Datadog.

• Preferred: Experience in cloud environments, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Preferred: Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.

• Preferred: Basic knowledge of automated testing frameworks, such as Playwright.
