• Oversee and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu/Debian) as well as Windows Server environments.
• Manage virtualization through Proxmox, which includes provisioning, snapshots, backups, and maintenance of VMs.
• Set up and manage firewalls, VPNs, DNS, access rules, and network segmentation.
• Implement hardening best practices and conduct patch management for operating systems and services.
• Monitor the availability, performance, and security events of the infrastructure.
• Investigate security and operational incidents by performing log analysis and root-cause assessments.
• Assist with access management, service accounts, and permission policies in both Linux and Windows environments, adhering to standards set by technical leadership.
• Maintain documentation including topology, procedures, and operational as well as incident response runbooks.
• Resolve issues related to Ubuntu and Windows VMs as requested by users via the ticketing system and chat.
• Manage Google Workspace: create and deactivate accounts, oversee groups, organizational units, access policies, and user provisioning.
• Serve as the technical liaison with vendors for systems, licenses, and services: open tickets, track SLAs, and verify deliveries.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure, operations, or network administration (both on-premises and cloud).
• Strong expertise with Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) and Windows Server (Windows 10/11 and Server 2016+).
• Familiarity with Proxmox virtualization (VM management, snapshots, and environments) and VMware.
• Practical knowledge of networking: Active Directory (including GPOs), DNS, DHCP, VPNs (OpenVPN, Netbird, Tailscale, etc.), firewalls, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals: hardening, patch management, access control, and the principle of least privilege.
• Capability to analyze logs and investigate both security and operational incidents.
• Proficiency in operational-level Bash and PowerShell for administration and troubleshooting tasks.
• Experience managing Google Workspace (or Microsoft 365) through the console: user, group, license, and security policy management.
• Technical proficiency in English for reading documentation.
• Certifications in Linux (LPIC), Microsoft, networking (CCNA), or security (Security+, CEH) are advantageous.
• Employment type: CLT (Brazilian employment contract) / fully remote.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 08:00–17:00 or 09:00–18:00.
