Mid-level Information Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute and support security initiatives, including firewalls, security gateways, content filters, and various elements of the security framework, utilizing Palo Alto Networks solutions.

• Engage in incident investigation and resolution, assisting with analysis, evidence gathering, and the creation of technical reports to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.

• Work collaboratively with infrastructure, networking, development, and other teams across the organization, offering support for information security efforts—particularly those involving Palo Alto Networks solutions—and aiding in security projects and initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Palo Alto Networks solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud solutions and SASE.

• Demonstrated experience in the position, with comprehensive knowledge of Palo Alto Networks security solutions.

• Strong grasp of computer networks, network protocols, firewall architecture, intrusion prevention/detection systems (IPS/IDS), and other components of information security.

• Experience in vulnerability assessment, as well as investigation and resolution of security incidents.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate within a team and engage with various business sectors.

• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and keep abreast of trends and best practices in information security, particularly related to Palo Alto Networks solutions.

• Preferred knowledge of security products from other vendors, such as Check Point and Fortinet.

• Required certification: Palo Alto Networks Security Analyst.
