This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Strategically plan and implement tools that guarantee the reliability, scalability, and security of systems;
• Create secure and efficient solutions that align with business requirements;
• Engage in DevOps projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from planning to implementation;
• Ensure that the tools and infrastructure provided by the DevOps team are provisioned, configured, and managed effectively, in a scalable and secure manner;
• Automate essential and complex tasks;
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure new requirements are fulfilled while maintaining system reliability, scalability, and security;
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures;
• Address tasks to resolve queries, meet requests, or manage incidents (identify and rectify) in accordance with established workflows;
• Take part in capacity planning, scalability, architecture, and information security initiatives;
• Create materials and contribute to training sessions on the tools and processes managed by the DevOps team;
• Oversee the availability and performance of tools offered by the DevOps team;
• Manage user access controls for tools provided by the DevOps team, as well as Azure Cloud resources, including virtual machines, containers, database services, etc.;
• Support and enforce security processes to ensure that infrastructure and both development and production environments are secure and compliant with the company’s security standards;
• Work collaboratively with development teams, environment administrators, and SREs to ensure the successful integration of systems and applications within the public cloud;
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux;
• Proficiency with Docker (containers, Dockerfile, and basic Docker Compose);
• Familiarity with Git (branching, merging, pull requests, and basic conflict resolution);
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts;
• Basic knowledge of YAML;
• Comprehension of Cloud Computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS);
• Advanced expertise with at least one cloud provider (preferably Oracle);
• Basic scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or Python);
• Fundamental networking knowledge (ports, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP);
• Experience with Kubernetes;
• Understanding of Helm (basic concepts);
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps;
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Application Insights);
• Understanding of logs, metrics, and traces;
• Experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, and log ingestion/query concepts);
• Familiarity with messaging systems (RabbitMQ at a conceptual level);
• Basic understanding of .NET or backend development;
• Knowledge of automated testing concepts;
• Experience with OpenTelemetry;
• Familiarity with ArgoCD;
• Awareness of cloud and container security concepts.
