Mid-level Cybersecurity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• You will play a key role in enhancing the security of TOTVS products by executing technical validation of vulnerabilities, performing security research, and assessing exposures.

• Manage, monitor, and technically validate vulnerability reports arising from Bug Bounty initiatives, Vulnerability Disclosure Programs (VDP), and additional sources.

• Aid in reproducing, analyzing, prioritizing, and initially assessing the impact of vulnerabilities within web applications, APIs, and product elements.

• Conduct security research to uncover public exposures, known vulnerabilities, CVEs, and risks associated with the product ecosystem.

• Support the monitoring and development of applied threat intelligence capabilities for product security, identifying trends and emerging risks.

• Collaborate technically with internal teams and security forums, assisting with documentation and tracking of remediation strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree completed or currently in progress in Information Technology, Information Security, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.

• Understanding of technical validation and analysis of vulnerabilities in web applications, APIs, and product-related elements.

• Practical experience in offensive security testing, reproducing vulnerabilities, and conducting security assessments of applications.

• Acquainted with the OWASP Top 10 for Web Applications and APIs.

• Knowledgeable about security testing and validation tools such as Burp Suite, DAST, SAST, SCA, and other vulnerability analysis instruments.
