Mid Level Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Operationally support cloud infrastructure in a productive environment.

• Describe and further develop infrastructure as code.

• Deploy workloads on Kubernetes and track cluster operations.

• Modify and enhance existing CI/CD pipelines.

• Automate workflows and solutions.

• Independently analyze problems and involve the team when necessary.

• Familiarize yourself with new technologies.

• Communicate with colleagues and clients.

• Automate solutions throughout the software engineering lifecycle to facilitate work for developers and agents on the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Initial solid professional experience in the CloudOps environment.

• Have operationally supported cloud infrastructure in a productive setting, not just in test environments.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes workloads and independent cluster analysis.

• Experience with existing CI/CD pipelines and their enhancement.

• Knowledge of the software engineering lifecycle.

• Excellent English skills (minimum C1 level).

• Basic knowledge of German is optional.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for client interaction.

• Willingness to learn new technologies.

• Proficiency in Terraform/OpenTofu, Azure, GCP or Telekom Public Cloud, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD or FluxCD.

• Experience with StackIT and/or Telekom Public Cloud is desirable.
