Mid-level Back-end Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve scalable SaaS applications featuring a multi-tenant architecture, ensuring security, performance, and tenant isolation for different customers.

• Develop and manage robust RESTful APIs utilizing TypeScript (Node.js) and Python.

• Execute complex integrations with external APIs and services.

• Assist in establishing backend architecture and best practices for development.

• Set up, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Manage and oversee Linux environments and AWS infrastructure.

• Work collaboratively with product, frontend, and operations teams to consistently deliver effective solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with TypeScript (Node.js) and Python.

• Proven track record in developing scalable RESTful APIs.

• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2).

• Hands-on experience with multi-tenant architectures.

• Familiarity with isolation strategies such as:

• Database-per-tenant

• Schema-per-tenant

• Shared database with tenant discriminator

• Proficient with AWS services (EC2, ECR, RDS, S3).

• Experience using Docker.

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices with GitHub Actions.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.

• Proficient in Linux, shell scripting, and server troubleshooting.

• Understanding of monitoring and observability concepts.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, OpenTelemetry, etc.).

• Knowledge of messaging/event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).

• Understanding of application security and data encryption.

• Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Background in frontend development.
