This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
β’ Executes a range of tasks to assist project personnel.
β’ May collect and maintain specific records of scientific data for supervisors, which may include environmental sampling, operations and maintenance, and inspections at client locations.
β’ Additional responsibilities may consist of aiding in calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting installations and equipment for compliance with specifications, and ensuring accurate project documentation is maintained.
β’ Gathers and records data while applying technical principles and theories under supervision.
β’ High School diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience or a proven equivalent of experience and/or education in archaeological fieldwork within the PNW region.
β’ A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is necessary, as travel for projects will be required.
β’ US Citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work.
β’ A Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a related field is preferred.
β’ Over 5 years of experience with a diverse range of field methodologies, including archaeological survey, testing, excavation, and monitoring is preferred.
β’ Completion of an archaeological field school is highly desired (preferred).
β’ Experience with Geospatial technology, including GPS and GIS, is preferred.
β’ Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, is preferred.
