This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Executes a range of tasks to assist project personnel.
• May collect and maintain specific records of scientific data for supervisors, which may include environmental sampling, operations and maintenance, and inspections at client locations.
• Additional responsibilities may consist of aiding in calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting installations and equipment for compliance with specifications, and ensuring accurate project documentation is maintained.
• Gathers and records data while applying technical principles and theories under supervision.
• High School diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience or a proven equivalent of experience and/or education in archaeological fieldwork within the PNW region.
• A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is necessary, as travel for projects will be required.
• US Citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience with a diverse range of field methodologies, including archaeological survey, testing, excavation, and monitoring is preferred.
• Completion of an archaeological field school is highly desired (preferred).
• Experience with Geospatial technology, including GPS and GIS, is preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, is preferred.
