Mid-Level AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and implement production ML and LLM-based systems, including RAG, agentic workflows, fine-tuning, and embeddings, tailored for enterprise clients.

• Take ownership of technical delivery from start to finish, encompassing architecture, prototyping, deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvements.

• Collaborate directly with client engineering and product teams to convert business requirements into well-defined, actionable technical solutions.

• Provide mentorship and support to fellow ML engineers through code reviews, technical advice, and knowledge exchange.

• Assist in developing internal best practices, tools, and technical standards as the team expands.

• Represent TensorOps in a technical capacity during client discussions, workshops, and, optionally, at industry conferences.

• Influence the technical direction of client projects and mentor junior ML engineers.

• Transition AI systems from prototype stage to production-grade deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficient hands-on skills in Python, capable of writing clean, efficient, and well-documented production-quality code.

• Demonstrated experience in designing, training, optimizing, and deploying ML models independently (e.g., using PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).

• Familiarity with building GenAI & LLM systems, including RAG pipelines, chatbot architectures, and applications utilizing tools like LangChain.

• Understanding of MLOps & production ML practices, such as model versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD for ML workflows.

• Experience in deploying and scaling ML systems on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Strong skills in performance optimization and debugging.

• Experience interacting with stakeholders or clients is advantageous.
