This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Develop and implement growth strategies by identifying target markets, key audiences, and scalable opportunities for expansion.
• Assemble skilled teams and client portfolios by utilizing resources across various markets to advance growth strategies.
• Oversee and lead multi-practice projects, establishing strategic direction and ensuring effective execution across different regions.
• Proven leadership in formulating and executing market strategies, aligning project delivery with business development to foster sustainable, profitable growth.
• Proficient in coordinating cross-disciplinary teams to efficiently execute complex projects at scale.
• Trusted collaborator with senior internal leaders, shaping growth strategies and assessing high-impact market opportunities.
• Extensive and established executive network throughout central and western Virginia and/or North Carolina with significant market presence and influence.
• Demonstrated success as a market builder with a consistent track record of acquiring, expanding, and retaining client relationships.
• Driven by ownership and long-term impact, joining SEH as an employee-owner with direct responsibility for the success, growth, and legacy of the market and projects they oversee.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Virginia or North Carolina.
• A minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in managing projects and contributing to market or regional growth strategies, with accountability for business development, client expansion, and performance delivery.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary project portfolios, balancing strategic vision with operational execution.
• Capacity to influence and collaborate at the executive level, partnering with internal leaders to shape investment priorities and long-term growth strategies.
• Previous experience in sharing accountability for growth, profitability, and legacy.
• Collaborate on exciting projects of various sizes and complexities that positively impact communities.
