This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Lead the comprehensive architecture, design, and execution of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, upgrades, and migrations for both on-premises and cloud settings.
• Convert intricate business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs across the Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, Sales, and Inventory modules.
• Establish and uphold architectural standards, coding best practices, and governance frameworks for solutions.
• Design and manage customizations utilizing the AL language, extensions, and components from the Power Platform.
• Architect integrations with CRM, e-commerce, payroll, banking, EDI, warehouse management, and bespoke API systems using REST/OData APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and middleware solutions.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders.
• Offer expert recommendations on enhancing processes and system capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to functional consultants, developers, and analysts.
• Oversee the data migration strategy, which includes mapping, cleansing, validation, and planning for cutover.
• Execute code reviews, solution audits, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with project managers to define the scope, estimates, timelines, and resource allocation plans.
• Remain updated on Microsoft's Business Central roadmap, release waves, and new technologies.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex functional and technical challenges during implementation and post-go-live support.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, including solution blueprints, data models, and integration diagrams.
• Ensure adherence to security, licensing, and regulatory standards across Business Central implementations.
• Over 8 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• At least 3 years in a role at the architect level.
• Extensive functional knowledge in essential Business Central modules: Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, and Projects.
• Strong hands-on development skills in AL language, Visual Studio Code, and Business Central extension development.
• Proven expertise with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Dataverse integration.
• Solid grasp of Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, API Management) and cloud architecture principles.
• Proficiency in REST/OData APIs, web services, and integration methodologies.
• Experience with SQL Server, data migration tools, and ETL processes.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft's One Version, extensibility model, and AppSource deployment.
• Demonstrated capability to lead full-cycle ERP implementations from gathering requirements to go-live and support phases.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, communication, and presentations.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MB-800, MB-820, MB-700, or equivalent.
• Availability to work within CET ± 3 hours.
