Microsoft Developer – Power BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Are you enthusiastic about data, governance, and crafting impactful analytical solutions? This role is ideal for you!

• You will take charge of evaluating the entire BI ecosystem of the company, suggesting enhancements, establishing standards, and constructing a scalable analytics platform. You will be involved in a strategic global initiative aimed at implementing a Data Governance Framework.

• Assess the existing BI environment (models, performance, adoption, and best practices);

• Design and develop robust, scalable semantic models;

• Create executive dashboards utilizing Power BI;

• Set governance standards for workspaces, datasets, and analytical models;

• Implement security best practices, including RLS and sensitivity labels;

• Enhance performance using DAX, Power Query (M), and VertiPaq;

• Collaborate on the integration between Power BI and Databricks (DirectQuery and Delta Sharing);

• Prepare technical recommendations for the advancement of the BI architecture;

• Operate with a high degree of autonomy, leading a comprehensive review of the environment and suggesting improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Power BI;

• Proficiency in Semantic Modeling;

• Advanced skills in DAX;

• Familiarity with Power Query (M);

• Expertise in performance optimization (VertiPaq, aggregations, and large data volumes);

• Knowledge of Power BI Service (Workspaces, Deployment Pipelines, Gateways, and RLS);

• Experience with Databricks (DirectQuery and Delta Sharing);

• Understanding of UX for dashboards and Self-Service Analytics;

• Capability to work independently, perform analyses, and recommend enhancements across the BI environment;

• Advanced/Fluent English for regular interactions with global teams.
