This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Oversee the complete project lifecycle from initial concept, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, to operational handoff.
• Provide strong on-site leadership during key installation, commissioning, and ramp-up phases to ensure effective project execution.
• Manage several simultaneous capital projects while balancing priorities, resources, and timelines within a dynamic network.
• Foster a high level of urgency and accountability to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet technical performance standards.
• Develop and monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and cash flow, proactively addressing risks and swiftly resolving issues.
• Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, operations, OEMs) to guarantee alignment and quick decision-making.
• Handle project governance and reporting, ensuring clear visibility on status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain high standards for on-site execution, including contractor management, safety, installation quality, and readiness for commissioning.
• Propel rapid problem-solving and escalation management to sustain project momentum.
• Ensure operational readiness by facilitating successful startup, performance validation, and effective handoff to plant teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical fields).
• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a related food and beverage sector.
• Strong Project Management skills, with PMP certification preferred.
• Essential skillsets include proficiency in Microsoft Applications, Project Management tools, and AutoCAD.
• In-depth knowledge of liquid processing systems and packaging equipment.
• Comprehensive understanding of Capital/Expense budgeting, planned project cash flow, financial project analysis, and complete capital project execution.
• Willingness to travel 60% to 80% of the time, primarily to production sites.
