This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.
• Develop, manage, and facilitate all direct social services for patients and their families.
• Deliver therapeutic treatment services to individuals, groups, families, and/or significant others.
• May conduct individual treatment sessions with patients based on the program and patient requirements.
• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary and perform daily safety assessments.
• Engage with patients, family members, and significant others with respect and dignity.
• Participate in psychoeducational support sessions involving patients, families, and significant others.
• Offer case management and therapeutic interventions to all assigned patients.
• Act as a patient advocate when addressing grievances.
• Document patient progress in accordance with the treatment plan.
• Complete all required documentation within specified timeframes.
• Communicate effectively with treatment team members and leverage technology for program implementation.
• Attend and engage in all departmental meetings virtually, providing feedback on departmental or clinical matters.
• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the health care sector.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric environment is preferred.
• Full, independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent in the practicing state.
• Must obtain a substance disorder license-in-training in the state of practice within 6 months of employment if working in a co-occurring program (e.g., MHAR).
• Working knowledge of therapeutic interventions and techniques applicable to all age groups.
• Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapies in addition to social services.
