This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Assist in driving strategic growth initiatives related to assessment, due diligence, and closing processes.
• Engage with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Aid in the financial and operational due diligence analysis for acquisition candidates.
• Identify critical deal-related issues.
• Create proformas and conduct financial modeling and analysis for centers and practices.
• Execute valuation, financial statement analysis, net present value (NPV), and discounted cash flow analysis.
• Produce impactful analyses concerning business drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities using both internal and external data.
• Take part in preparing materials for meetings and due diligence sessions.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks that strengthen group infrastructure and connectivity with operations.
• Deliver strategic and financial analytical support to Business Development, Operations, and other functional teams.
• Provide support to Directors and Managers on the Mergers & Acquisitions team.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in transaction-oriented analysis from a healthcare-focused valuation firm, healthcare corporate development department, or investment banking firm.
• Direct experience with Ambulatory Surgery Centers is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Proficiency in fundamental financial modeling and analysis.
• Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to be self-driven and proactive in uncertain situations.
• Quick learner with strong critical thinking skills.
• Competence in simplifying complex problems, anticipating challenges, and assessing solutions.
• Skill in managing multiple competing priorities within tight deadlines.
• Capacity to plan, manage, and execute projects with high quality and precision.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages appropriately.
• Strong interpersonal skills for extensive collaboration with departments and acquisition targets.
