Mental Health Therapist – Pediatric Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

• Lyra’s provider network consists of both in-person and virtual therapists, physicians, and coaches throughout the United States.

• We are seeking licensed telehealth therapists on a contract basis who have a strong commitment to whole-person and whole-family mental health care to join our clinical team.

• This role is well-suited for independently licensed clinical therapists with experience in delivering culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and their families.

• This position is perfect for providers looking to connect with well-matched and motivated pediatric clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in a clinical field (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC).

• An unrestricted LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent license (i.e., capable of working independently without supervision from a licensed supervisor) with no current, past, or pending disciplinary action.

• Proficient in employing evidence-based techniques to inspire, guide, and assist our members in successfully achieving their goals, which may include, but are not limited to, CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, PMT, and EMDR, as well as clinical best practices (e.g., measurement-based care, promoting skills practice).

• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative care framework, coordinating with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and wellness coaches.

• Skilled in engaging families in the therapeutic process, educating them about treatment goals, and adapting strategies to incorporate family dynamics and support.

• Committed to maintaining quality standards for documentation, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant records of assessments, treatment plans, and session notes.

• Technologically adept and comfortable delivering telehealth services via video, while ensuring member confidentiality and security, and promptly addressing technical issues to enhance the member experience.

• Availability to meet with clients who are primarily or exclusively available in the evenings or on Saturdays.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
