Mental Health Therapist – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Provide remote, evidence-based therapy to adult clients (18+), utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, MBCT, TLDP, IPT, EFT, and MI.

• Manage a caseload of 7-20 ongoing therapy and consultation sessions per week.

• Leverage data to inform effective treatment and modify your approach according to client progress.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals as necessary and refer clients when suitable.

• Keep progress notes and documentation in line with HIPAA and state regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed in Minnesota as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).

• At least two years of clinical experience working with adults (18+).

• A minimum of six months of experience in teletherapy.

• Available for 8-24 hours per week, dedicating 85% of that time to client sessions.

• Must be available during regular business hours for at least 1 hour per week for training in the first 6 weeks, followed by 30 minutes each month for ongoing support.

• Proficient in conducting clinical assessments (e.g., PHQ-9) to monitor client progress.

• Openness to training in clinical assessment, differential diagnosis, and DSM-5 criteria for diagnostic evaluation.

• Experience with electronic health/medical record systems for documenting progress notes, treatment plans, etc.

• Must hold a valid license and be in good standing with your governing licensing board.
